Thanks to a generous grant from the Children’s Trust, Playing the Game of Life℠ offers programming in multiple locations throughout Miami-Dade County at NO COST. Please see details below:

PLAYING THE GAME OF LIFE – EARLY CHILDHOOD

This program for 2-5 year olds combines guided meditation, Peace Works: Peace Making Skills for Little Kids Component, Radiant Child Yoga, & Fine Arts. Children will have the opportunity to experience learning about themselves and the world around them, from the inside out, with hopes that their true essence will shine through, while giving them not just life skills, but life-long skills. The children will receive Yoga or Fine Arts once a week. In addition they will receive PeaceWorks component once a week . Early Childhood Instructors recieve weekly PeaceWorks Mentoring.Topics include: Community Building, I-Care Rules, Anger Management, and I-Care Statements.

Hours 10am-11am, 8am-6pm includes all classes/mentoring.

PLAYING THE GAME OF LIFE – OUT OF SCHOOL

Description:

Playing the Game of Life OOS infuses social skills and self awareness techniques with enrichment activities. The program is designed to expose, inspire, and guide participants through a progressive, (w)holistic, and comprehensive program addressing the physical, emotional, mental, creative, and social aspects of each child. The after-school program also includes daily SPARK Fitness activities and Reader’s Theater Literacy activities as well as the “Peaceworks” social skills program. Children receive different components every day of the week. In these components, students have the opportunity to experience learning about themselves and the world around them, from the inside out, with hopes that their true essence will shine through, while giving them not just life skills, but life-long skills. Children also receive daily homework help and a healthy snack.
